Earlier this month, the J.M. Smucker Company issued a voluntary recall for a number of their Special Kitty brand wet cat food products. The recall was issued due to health concerns, specifically that certain ingredients used in the products didn’t meet the company’s standards for safety and quality.

The product in question is the Special Kitty brand Mixed Grill Dinner Pate, but it is also included in variety packs. No other Special Kitty products were impacted by the recall.

If you currently have any of the products listed above, discontinue feeding your cat the product immediately and dispose of it safely.

If your pet has been affected by the recall, contact the FDA through the agency’s reporting website.

    I choose to use your products because we have 10 rescue cats. Now my poor cats have terrible diaherra. WTH! They were all healty before I started using your product. Shame on you!

    I also have a ton (50-60) feral cats that I care for. Switched over because no other could be found at the time. ALL cats have the squirts and are throwing up. WILL NOT FEED ANY OF THESE PRODUCTS TO CATS EVER AGAIN.
